It's been tooo long since my last post. So much has happened.
We are now less than 4 months away from the big day!! So excited! There is still a lot to do, but most of the big stuff is taken care of.
I'm having so much fun looking for fabulous hotels in Paris and along the French Riviera. So far, it looks like we are going to stay at this nice, cute, hidden hotel in Paris recommended by the Cusacks called, Hotel Grandes Ecoles on the West bank. We are going to spend several days in Paris visiting museums, going to cafes, and enjoying the area. Then, we are going on a day trip to Versailles and maybe rent bikes for the day. We will do an overnight trip to Giverny. I am really looking forward to this. There, we will probably stay in a little bed and breakfast and get a private tour along with a painting lesson where Monet painted the waterlilies! THEN, we will take a plane to Nice and stay on the coast for the last week of the trip. I think we will first stay in Nice for 3 nights at a reasonable hotel, and then go stay at a fancy hotel (if we can). I'm thinking Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc, which is a historic hotel on the water. All of the hotels look amazing. I can't wait!!!
Dawson and I met four years ago on the set of the film "Boy of Pigs," now known as "An American Affair." We worked closely together in the Art Department. He caught me crying one day and offered to take me to lunch and told me funny stories to help me get through the day. Not long after that he asked me to go on a date and the rest is history!!

Save the Dates

Dawson personally designed our Save the Dates and I'm so proud of them. The front of the postcard is a painting by our favorite local artist and friend, Greg Otto. He gave us these cards as an engagement present to use for our save the dates. We spent a whole day printing, cutting, pasting. We did it together, which was fun!

Bridesmaid Dresses
Colors

Picking these wedding colors is very hard!! I think I am trying so hard to make it perfect that I can't decide. I know for sure that I want blues. I just love all shades of blue. But, what's my accent? Yellow, or a Bright blue, or lavender...
Well, I have to say that the challenge is fun.
I went bridesmaid dress shopping with 6 of my bridesmaids last Friday and had a really hard time deciding the colors. I am open to choosing different shades of blue along with different style dresses, but maybe I am making it too complicated.
Thanksgiving

I had the most wonderful Thanksgiving this year! I think this was the best. I got to hang out with my sisters, have a double Thanksgiving at the Eatons with my family and at Dawson's parent's house, and then hang out with my friends. The only unfortunate part about the weekend was seeing USC lose to Notre Dame... hehe
